The coach cannot hear me, or voice commands are not working
RecipeSky needs two separate iOS permissions: Microphone and Speech Recognition. Open Settings, find RecipeSky, and make sure BOTH are turned on. In a noisy kitchen, earbuds give the clearest results.
My cooking timers are not alerting me
Timer alerts use notifications. Open Settings, find RecipeSky, tap Notifications, and turn Allow Notifications on. The in-app countdown and spoken reminder still work even without notifications, but the lock-screen alert needs this.
How do I cook hands-free?
Tap a recipe to start. The coach reads one step at a time and waits for you. Say "done" or "next" to move on, and ask questions like "how much water?" any time. Keep your phone nearby with the screen on.
How do cook-alongs work?
Pick a curated cook-along, or share any YouTube cooking video to RecipeSky. The video plays with voice controls so you can pause, resume, or skip while your hands are busy.
Does RecipeSky cost anything?
No. RecipeSky is completely free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no paid features to unlock.
How do I delete my data?
